Boarding Policies

First and foremost, our goal is to provide a safe and friendly service to all of our clients. The following policies are designed to ensure that each of our guests has a relaxed, stress free, and enjoyable experience at Fieldstone Animal Inn. To ensure the safety of our staff, we do not accept aggressive dogs. Each dog’s temperament is tested prior to entering the kennel.

Check-in & Check-out

Pets boarding at Fieldstone Animal Inn may be picked up, or dropped off any time during our lobby hours. Each pet boarding at Fieldstone Animal Inn will be charged for everyday that they stay at our facility-including the day of check-in, regardless of their arrival time. If your pet check out before noon on their last day of boarding, there will be no boarding fee assessed for that day. If your pet receives a grooming service on their last day of boarding, there will be no boarding fee assessed for that day of boarding regardless of what time they are picked up, although there will be an additional fee for the grooming service.

Luggage

You are welcomed to bring bedding and toys for your pet during their stay; however, these items must be washable and expendable. The only items we do not allow are raw hide chews and pig’s ears. In the event that your are to board a small mammal with us, we do request that your bring their own enclosure and extra bedding.

Vaccination Requirements

For the protection of your pet and all who enter our facility, we require proof of vaccinations prior to entering the facility. All vaccinations must be given seven days prior to admittance.

For dogs, the following vaccinations are required:

Bordetella (Canine Cough)
Distemper
Rabies

For cats, the following vaccinations are required:

Distemper
Rabies

Diets and Medications

You are more than welcome to bring your own food and snacks for your pet during their stay. In the event that you wish not to, your pet will be fed our kennel feed, which is Pedigree (for our canine companions) or Purina Indoor Formula (for our feline companions). In the event that you are boarding a small mammal, we do ask that you provide your own food.

At Fieldstone Animal Inn, we do accept pets with medications. There is a nominal fee for medication administration ($1.00 per dose of medications, $5.00 per injections). The fees for medication administration are assessed by the number of times a medication is given per day, not by the number of medications administered at a given time.
